• I thought, whoever the #*@& is setting off firecrackers at midnight is two months late. Woke up to find a utility pole is on fire. #
• Back wall neighbor says x-former on pole caught fire. Police and fire on scene but can’t do anything until HECO comes. #
• And the pole just crashed and we’re out of power. #
• Kailua. Enchanted Lake. Not sure of the cause. It could just have been a x-former short as well. #
• Walked down. Police closed the road near the scene. Officer says it was most likely a transformer blowing. #
• At any rate we’re out of power here and may be for a while ’til HECO fixes things…not much to do but go back to bed. #
• HECO crews still working on adjacent street to repair broken pole. Fortunately the power’s back on this AM. Time to go to work. #
