Italian senate: ‘Let us eat ice cream’
Squeezed June 10, 2007Whether or not Marie Antoinette said, “Let them eat cake” back in the 18th century, we do know that some modern-day Italian senators, tired of the ordinary spaghetti and lasagna in their lunchroom, are saying, “Let us eat ice cream.”
And our politicians worried about whether to call the fried potatoes in their lunchroom “freedom fries”?
